Tagging courses
Click the ⋮ button in the top right of a catalog card to mark a course as ★ Interested, ✓ Taken Previously, or ? Asking About. The tag shows up on the mini-card in your plan too.
If you've already taken a prerequisite at a different school, mark it as "Taken Previously" so the planner knows you have it.

About the Madeira schedule
Blocks are the main academic schedule slots. Most courses are 3 blocks per year. You must fill 18–21 blocks per year (shown by the ✓/✗ counter next to each grade).
D-Blocks are daily afternoon activity periods. They are not counted toward your academic block total. You choose one activity per season (Fall, Winter, Spring).
Co-Curriculum courses (Student Government, leadership programs, etc.) are separate from your academic schedule and are required each year.
Evening courses like Chorus, Orchestra, Stagecraft, and GYLB meet outside of the regular school day. They count as credits toward graduation but do not take up a daytime block.
Rotating courses — Linear Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, and Differential Equations — are not offered every year. Their catalog cards show which years they are available.
Graduation requirements
Click Distribution Requirements at the bottom of your plan to see a live checklist of how many credits you still need in each subject area. This updates automatically as you add courses.
